In May 2025 Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents (ICE) in coordination with Tennessee Highway Patrol Officers conducted hundreds of traffic stops and nearly 200 detainments these were some of the first Immigration detainment operations under the second term of the Trump Administration, with major surges taking place across the country throughout 2025 and coming to a head in Minnesota in early 2026.
